POWERCHINA organizes donations to locals in Bangladesh

SEPCOIII, a subsidiary of POWERCHINA recently organized a donation drive benefiting the local community of Sirajganj in Bangladesh, where they are also building combined-cycle power plant.

Alim, the local NGO chairman of the Saydabad community, said, "I sincerely thank POWERCHINA and SEPCOIII for their concern for the community. You have not only brought a lot of job opportunities and increased our income, but have also have donated education materials to the children many times. POWERCHINA and SEPCOIII are the most responsible Chinese companies we have ever seen."

The company also trains local employees, as well as impart technical and work skills, reserving a large number of high-quality talents for POWERCHINA's development in Bangladesh.

In the future, the company will use opportunities garnered from national energy projects along the Belt and Road to fully fulfill its social responsibility and offer more favorable services to local residents.
