On Dec 4, 2018, eight volunteers from the East and Southern Africa regional headquarters of Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA) launched a voluntary activity to help students in Upper Kafue Gorge Primary School in Zambia.

The event was their way of celebrating the upcoming 33rd United Nations Volunteer Day.

Through this voluntary activity, the volunteers, local teachers, and students have deepened their understanding and friendship. The activity also showed the corporate social responsibility philosophy of POWERCHINA.

According to the volunteer association of POWERCHINA's East and Southern Africa regional headquarters, more activities of this kind will be organized to help local schools.
