POWERCHINA experienced in UHV AC and DC transmission projects

In terms of engineering construction of circulating fluidized bed units, ultra super-critical power plants, thermal power projects, gas turbines, wind power, solar energy, biomass energy, distributed energy, andnew energy project, as well as AC/DC power transmission and transformation at 1000 kilovolt voltage level, POWERCHINA is at the leading level both domestically and internationally.

Boasting world-leading technologies and experience in the design and construction of ultra-high voltage (UHV) AC/DC transmission lines and substations, POWERCHINA has successfully completed the Hami South-Zhengzhou±800 Kilovolt UHV DC Transmission Project with the world's largest transmission capacity, and the Southern Shanxi-Jingmen 1000kV UHV AC Transmission Project with the world's largest voltage class.

In addition, it also completed the Belo Monte±800 Kv UHV DC Transmission Project in Brazil, under the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) mode. The project is the first power transmission and transformation line in Latin America and the fourth in the world.
