POWERCHINA, Saudi Aramco vow to enhance cooperation

Li Yanming, vice general manager of POWERCHINA, met with Fahad, vice president of Saudi's national oil company, Saudi Aramco, in Beijing on March 21.

Li extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Fahad on behalf of POWERCHINA Chairman Yan Zhiyong and general manager Sun Hongshui and expressed his sincere gratitude to Amerco for its support on the Gizan project in Saudi.

POWERCHINA attaches great importance to the progress of the project and has made detailed plans for it, Li said, adding that POWERCHINA is confident in making the project a success with joint efforts.

Fahad spoke highly of the cooperation on the Gizan project and said that Aramco CEO Amin Nasser attaches high value to their relationship and expects deeper cooperation with POWERCHINA.

Aramco will join hands with POWERCHINA to seek the best solution for the project and advance it through wide-open communication, he added.

POWERCHINA general manager Song Dongsheng and vice general manager Wu Wenhao were also at present at the meeting.
