POWERCHINA strengthens bond with Saudi Arabian oil company

Yan Zhiyong, chairman of POWERCHINA, met with Ahmad A. Al Sa'adi, senior vice president of Saudi's national oil company Saudi Aramco, in Beijing on Oct 24 to discuss collaborative projects.

Noting China and Saudi Arabia's strategic partnership, Yan emphasized POWERCHINA's willingness to further communication and cooperation with Saudi Aramco on topics of mutual concern.

Sa'adi spoke highly of both parties' collaborative achievements and said that China and Saudi Arabia are both making transformation, as relayed in the Saudi's Vision 2030 growth strategy and China's 19th CPC National Congress, which opens up new opportunities for both countries' development.

Wang Bing, vice general manager of POWERCHINA, and representatives from POWERCHINA International Group Ltd, Shandong Electric Power Corp (SEPCO), and POWERCHINA Nuclear Engineering Co also attended the meeting.
