A promotional event of Guizhou tea was held in Meitan county, Zunyi, Southwest China's Guizhou province on April 18. Representatives of government departments and media outlets attended the event.
During the event, a publicity online platform was launched to promote Guizhou tea and the Global Tea Culture Festival and Tea Expo that was also being held in Guizhou from April 18 to 20.
The event also consisted of a four-day visit that invited famous national media outlets to tour Guizhou's famous tea producing areas such as Zunyi and Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture.
The visit is expected to showcase Guizhou's achievements of taking tea as a characteristic industry to protect its efforts ecological environment, poverty alleviation, and rural revitalization efforts.
