Guizhou Medical University, together with 46 other universities, was recently selected as a "research commercialization and technological transformation" center by the Education Ministry.
The selected universities are expected to focus on top-level designs for technological transformation while also arranging for the construction of the new center.
Supporting policies involving employment, work expenses, and service venues will be implemented to guarantee the centers are able to function properly.
Education departments at all levels are expected to provide guidance to the new centers, promote region-specific reforms, and make efforts to encourage the construction of more such centers.
