"This is important for the establishment, cancellation, re-registration, asset protection, supervision, and management of grassroots supply and marketing cooperatives," Wang added.
It is necessary to establish a concrete legal status for supply and marketing cooperatives in order to solve problems related to their development, protection and supervision, said Wang.
Wang said that land and houses used by supply and marketing cooperatives should take care of land confirmation and property rights procedures, and that provisions should be reduced or exempted according to regulations.
