Sun Zhigang, deputy to the 13th National People's Congress (NPC), secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, and director of the standing committee of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, reviewed the work reports of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate on March 12.
According to Sun, the work reports discuss ruling the country through comprehensive laws, and expounds on a major national development strategy to stimulate economic and social development.
The work reports also discussed reforming the judicial system and improving the quality and efficiency of case processing. They talked about strengthening law enforcement in key areas related to people's vital interests by forming a high-quality judicial team.
Guizhou plans to adhere to the reports and promote legal reform to honor the 70th anniversary of the founding of China.
