Sun Zhigang, secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, and Guizhou Governor Shen Yiqin visited female delegates attending the 13th National People's Congress, which is underway in Beijing, on March 8 to mark International Women's Day.

Sun extended his festive greetings and wished them health and happiness. He then made a speech praising Guizhou women's contributions to society and industry, as well as their sense of responsibility.
He also called for more efforts to be put into development in 2019 to make more contributions in the country's efforts in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
