Luo Peng, deputy to the 13th National People's Congress, co-president of Manbang Group, and CEO of Huochebang, was interviewed on March 4 and discussed the in-depth integration of big data, the real economy, and traditional industry.
Huochebang, a Guizhou-based technology company, achieved fast growth over the past five years and contributed 150 million yuan ($22.4 million) to Guiyang's tax revenue in 2018.

That same year, Huochebang merged with Yunmanman and established Manbang Group, China's largest truck-hailing company. According to Luo, Manbang strives to become a financial supply chain platform to serve truck drivers and logistics enterprises.
Luo believes that big data is not only an industry, but another form of infrastructure that serves as an accelerator for all future industries.
Guizhou needs to implement more innovative policies to attract competitive entrepreneurs, as big data is a typical intelligence-intensive industry, Luo added.
