Zheng'an county, Zunyi city, Guizhou province, from which around 200,000 people have left to work in another city, is a key target for national poverty alleviation and development work.
In recent years, after successfully attracting investment and developing the guitar industry, the county has managed to continue bringing in people, logistics, capital, and attention.
The county has undergone vast changes driven by the guitar industry, in which more than 13,000 people have found jobs.
Zheng'an Guitar Park has registered more than 20 independent guitar brands, including "Socrates", "Sevignia", and "Baikal". The company of Zheng Chuanjiu, a deputy to the 13th National People's Congress (NPC), has registered four brands.
"Enterprises in the park currently face issues such as poor management quality, insufficient investment in research and development, and a lack of personnel, which has greatly hampered the development of the Zheng'an Guitar brand," said Zheng.
He hoped that the government would provide more support for the development of domestic guitar brands in terms of policies, funds, and personnel.
"After becoming a NPC deputy, I need to study and improve, set an example, further consolidate the consensus on industrial development, gather a joint force for industrial development, and embark on the 'new Long March' of developing the Zheng'an Guitar," he said.
