According to the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Guizhou is planning 2,738 major projects in 2019, receiving a total of 4.4 trillion yuan ($654 billion) in investment.
Among them, 323 projects with a combined investment of 377.4 billion yuan are expected to be completed, 1,326 projects with a combined investment of 790.8 billion yuan will be continued, and 436 projects with a combined investment of 749 billion yuan will enter the preparatory stage.
The projects involve agriculture, energy, manufacturing, information services, environmental protection, urban development, transportation, and more.
