Feilong village scenic area

Located west of Feilong Lake in Huashan Miao ethnic village,Yuqing county, Feilong village scenic area is a national wetland park and a national 4A-class tourist attraction, and is also an important component of the Feilong Lake tourism area.

Feilong (Flying Dragon) village boasts numerous attractions: ancient Miao ethnic villages and local folk culture, beautiful natural scenery, distinctive landscapes including hills, water, and valleys, and a 999-meter-long corridor shaped like a flying dragon, the longest in the world (which is how the village got its name). The combination of the dragon culture and local traditional culture makes the village a magnificent and influential tourist destination.

The Feilong village scenic area consists of three parts: the world's longest flying dragon corridor, the Lotus Garden, and the Garden of Ethnic Customs. With the Miao ethnic village at its center, the scenic area's main attractions are experiencing dragon culture and the ethnic group's customs. Its scenery consists of the Lotus Garden and Feilong Lake, and surrounding scenic spots include Chaoyang Cave, Shijia Cave, and the ancient grove.

Located in Dangmenba in Feilong village, the Lotus Garden of Feilong Lake is named after its ten acres of farmland, which grow over 20 species of lotus. Plank roads cross over the Lotus Garden and connect pavilions and corridors.

Near the Lotus Garden is a performance garden for Miao ethnic customs, covering an area of more than 1,300 square meters. It can accommodate more than 2,000 people, and performances include songs such as the Song of Toasting and Charming Miao Village, as well as song and dance performances with reed-pipe wind instruments, such as the Love Full of Miao Mountains, Men in Flower Mountains, Girls of Golden Pheasants, and the stool dance of Qiamengya. The performances are lively and distinctive, presenting Miao ethnic culture to visitors.

Admission: 10 yuan($1.44)/person for Yuqing locals; 60 yuan/person for everyone else

How to get there by car: Yukai, Jiang'an or Dao'an Highway to Huashan village.
