Sakuras

Sakuras are often seen as token of love and hope, standing for decent pure love. As the national flower of Japan, sakuras have fragrant and bright-colored blooms.

Guiyang Medicine Botanical Garden, Hebin Park and Guiyang Forest Park in Guiyang are great places to see sakoras.

Transportation: to Guiyang Medicine Botanical Garden, take 9, 11, 21, 42 bus lines; to Hebin Park, take 1,2,4,11,15 bus lines; to Guiyang Forest Park, take 603 bus line.

Pear blossoms

Pear blossoms reach their peak on April 10, covering fields with petals white as snow.

The best places to see pear blossoms in Guiyang are Baihuahu Lake and Youer village in Qingzhen county.

Transportation: to Baihuahu Lake, take 225, Guanshan 6 bus lines; to Youer village, take a bus to Qingzhen town at Jinyang Bus Station, and then transfer at Qingzhen town to a bus approaching to Wanger village.

Azaleas

Azaleas, a symbol of delight, happiness, and love rank among the top Chinese traditional flowers for its gorgeous blooms. Baili Azalea Parkland in Guizhou, the largest natural garden of the world at 125.8 square kilometers, is honored as the kingdom of azaleas.

Transportation: to Baili Azalea Parkland, drive from Guiyang to Zunyi city through Lanhai Highway, and then stop at Baili Azalea station exit through Hangrui Highway, finally arrive at Pudi Scenic Spot by Huahai Road.

Tulips

Tulips are the national flower of many countries, including the Netherlands, New Zealand, Iran and Turkey. Due to this, tulips are often praised as being “world flowers” and symbolize fashion and internationalization. The floral language of tulips is universal love, thoughtfulness, elegance, wealth, and intelligence.

Longjiashan National Forest Park is the best place to see tulips in Guizhou.

Transportation: to Longjiashan National Forest Park, drive from Guiyang to Gujiao town, Longli county, Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture.
