Jinping county, southwest China's Guizhou province has preserved their spectacular dragon dance to celebrate local festivals. The dancers have their faces painted in various colors and play different roles in traditional Han operas.
In recent years, local government has attached importance to keep the unique folk culture alive. Now, more than 96 percent of the primary and secondary school students in Longli village, Jinping county can perform the dragon dance.
