More than a thousand parents and their children attended a family activity with their children on March 27 in Donglan county, Hechi to perform traditional Zhuang dancing.

In traditional Zhuang dress, parents and children performed traditional dances and ate traditional local foods in observance of the Shangsi Festival, which annually falls on the third day of the third lunar month.

Donglan county is home to more than 10 ethnic groups, 70 percent of which are Zhaung. A variety of Zhuang traditions have been well-preserved throughout the county.
