The 2019 edition of Dongshan Island International Half Marathon was held in Dongshan county in East China's Fujian province on March 17, attracting nearly 10,000 runners from 20 countries and regions worldwide.
Ethiopian runners dominated the race. Geleta Sentayehu Assefa claimed the men's title in 1 hour 7 minutes and 42 seconds. His compatriot Worku Dibabe Birhanu won the women's crown in 1:18:37.
