Fujian residents' disposable income rises 7.5 percent in 2017

Fujian's per capita disposable income reached 30,048 yuan ($4,692.4) in 2017, a year-on-year increase of 7.5 percent in real terms, local media reported Monday, citing figures from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

The increase was 0.6 percentage points faster than that registered in 2016.

Viewed separately, urban and rural per capita disposable income in 2017 reached 39,001 yuan and 16,335 yuan, respectively, up 6.9 percent and 8 percent in real terms after deducting price factors, according to the NBS.

China's per capita disposable income stood at 25,974 yuan in 2017, up 7.3 percent year-on-year in real terms, official data showed on Jan 18.

By 2020, China aims to double the per capita income of its urban and rural residents from 2010 levels, to build a moderately prosperous society.
