More than 300 world-leading IT experts and entrepreneurs converged in Fuzhou, provincial capital of Southeast China's Fujian province on Thursday for the 2017 China National Computer Congress (CNCC), which is scheduled to run until Saturday.

CNCC, founded by the China Computer Federation in 2003, has become the largest and most influential event in China's computing industry.

The 2017 edition is based around the theme "AI Changes the World" and includes 14 keynote speeches, two themed forums and over 30 related activities.

An exhibition with more than 80 companies showcasing the latest scientific and technological products will also take place during the three-day event, with roughly 6,000 people expected to attend.
