The south square of Fuzhou Railway Station will start renovation after the Spring Festival (Feb 7-13, 2016) and is projected to be a railway, subway, bus and taxi transportation hub, fjsen.com reports.

The project includes reconstruction of three parts of the station and is slated to finish in three years. The western area will be reconstructed as a bus terminal with a ground floor and three underground floors. The ground floor will be built to include a 20-floor office building while the basements will connect with Subway Lines 3 and 1 and the railway station in ascending stages.

The middle area will be an underground shopping center and the eastern area is slated for taxi pick-ups and drop offs.
