United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will hold its theme day during the 19th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) on Sept 9.

UNIDO and CIFIT have started the cooperation since 2004. This year, an INIDO Day will join in the fair and consist of an exhibition, three forums and a report.

A south-south cooperation exhibition will attend in the UNIDO pavilion. Forums themed investment opportunities in BRICS, industrial cooperation along the Maritime Silk Road and green industries will also be the major parts of the theme day. A report about industrial development in Africa will be issued to promote the international industrial cooperation.

UNIDO was established in 1966 and headquartered in Vienna. It now has 172 members and makes efforts to facilitate the industrialization in developing countries.

The 19th CIFIT will be held in Xiamen city, Fujian province from Sept 8 to 11.
