Veterans attend a groundbreaking ceremony for a memorial wall dedicated for those who fought and died in the War of Resistance Against Japan (1937-1945), in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province. The ceremony was held on July 7, the 78th anniversary of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, or July 7 Incident, in 1937, which marks the start of the war.
