Four people died and another four were injured in a four-vehicle collision in Xiamen city early on Thursday, sina.com.cn reported.

The accident happened on the Gaolin section of Huandao road in Huli district at around 6 am. A BMW X3, a minibus, a trailer and an electrical tricycle were involved.

Four of nine people in the BMW were killed at the scene.

How the accident happened hasn’t been revealed. The case is being investigated.
