Xiamen expected to see rainfall in coming 3 days due to typhoon Kujira

Typhoon Kujira landed at Wanning city in Hainan at 18:50 on Monday

Xiamen is expected to experience continuous rainfall from June 23 to June 25, according to the Xiamen Weather Bureau.

Xiamen has experienced sunny weather in the past few days, with the highest and lowest temperature reaching 31.5 and 25.3 degrees Celsius on the Island, respectively, on June 21.

A No. 8 typhoon, the Kujira, began to form over the middle area of the South China Sea on June 21, and is heading north at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour. It landed at Wanning in Hainan Province about 18:50 on Monday, at a “tropical storm” level, and to affect southern Fujian in the following 3 days.

With the arrival of the Kujira, Xiamen is expected to experience continuous rainfall in the following three days. The temperature is forecast to fall by 1 degree Celsius each day, and reach 28 degrees Celsius on June 24, an unseasonably cool temperature.
