Taiwan incubator near completion in Pingtan

A business incubator for Taiwanese enterprises in Pingtan is expected to become operational later this month after authorities’ examination, ptnet.cn reports.

Construction of the project is almost wrapped up. The office buildings connected by air corridors have been ready, as are the water and electricity system. Workers will tie up the loose ends of the internal decoration, said Xu Rongli, a supervisor.

As of June 12, a total of 162 enterprises have filed applications to settle in the park.More than 10 big companies have been approved and started operations.

The Taiwan Business Incubator is situated in the Jinjing Bay district, taking up an area of 8.5 hectares. It comprises 18 buildings and is divided to four functional zones, including a business startup base for young Taiwanese; headquarters and marketing center for Taiwanese enterprises; research and development center; and centers for cultural creativity and e-commerce.

Taiwanese companies in the park will enjoy favorable policies and incentives in subsidies and tax breaks.
