As a key part of the Seventh Cross-Strait Forum, the Cross-strait Temple Fair is an important platform for promoting Taiwan's counties and docking for villages from both sides of the strait. Three containers weighing more than 24 tons, containing food products, food production machines, and advertising documents, have been transported to Xiamen.

Foods from Taiwan's seven biggest night markets, including snacks, drinks, candies, biscuits, and fish balls, will be presented during the fair.

The Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has set up a green clearance system for the organizations attending the forum, in order to guarantee faster clearance speed. The Dongdu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has completed inspection work on the Taiwanese foods, finding the products all to be of high quality.
