Mr. Knüssi comes from Switzerland and started his hotel career in 1978. He has 37 years’ experience in hospitality. He spent his early career years in culinary arts with passion. He has worked in world renowned international hotels, including the Four Seasons Hotel Bali, Regent Kuala Lumpur and Shangri-La Makati Philippines as Executive Chef. In 1999, Mr. Knüssi received the prestigious Five Star Diamond Award for being one of the world’s best chefs.
Prior to this new position, he was the General Manager of InterContinental Dalian. He demonstrated solid functionality and leadership competency. With rich Food & Beverage experience and strong leadership, Mr. Knüssi is the perfect choice for the iconic InterContinental Fuzhou, the tallest hotel in the city, and he will bring a brand-new look to Fuzhou.
In his spare time, he loves scuba diving, collecting mini models of Corvette cars and spends a lot of time with his young daughter.
