The 11th Strait Travel Fair kicked off in the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center on May 8th, and it will last till May 10th.

Since last year, Xiamen has set up an individual pavilion to promote the city to domestic and overseas participants during the fair, and this year it enlarged the pavilion with more highlights.
Covering an area of 678 square meters, it nearly doubled the exhibition area of last year and attracted 35 exhibitors, an increase of 169% year on year.
The exhibitors are mainly related to travel agencies, hotels, scenic spots, tourism products and hot springs.
More than 200 tourism products with discounts worth millions of yuan are available this year.
The organizing committee will provide 100,000 free tickets to residents in Xiamen and tourists who can provide proof of booked plane or bullet train tickets.
