Cross-Strait Art Collection Trading Center to be built in T3 of Xiamen Airport

The construction of the Xiamen Cross-Strait Art Collection Trading Center project is expected to be kicked off at the T3 terminal of the Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport this year, according to the Xiamen Municipal City Planning Commission.

As the first batch of key projects in Xiamen, the Xiamen Cross-Strait Art Collection Trading Center will cover a total area of 115,000 square meters and the entire investment will reach RMB 1.2 billion.

According to the project plan revealed to the public, the Xiamen Cross-Strait Art Collection Trading Center will feature a structure composed of 7 functional areas that are to be built in 2 phases. The first phase of the center, which will be put into construction this year, will cover an area of 120,000 square meters and will consist of a cultural relics center, an artistic collection trading center, a contemporary art collection center, a hotel, and a Haixi City cultural square. The second phase of the center will be put into construction after the Xiamen Xiang’an International Airport is put into service.

The entire area of the Xiamen Cross-Strait Art Collection Trading Center is expected to reach 240,000 square meters upon completion.
