Japanese white cherry blossom – Somei Yoshino – is currently on powerful display in Zhangping, Fujian province.

The white flower has taken over the national Taiwan farming garden in Zhangping’s Yongfu town, which was dominated by Chinese red and pink cherry blossom earlier in the month.

The flowers which were delivered from Qingdao in Shandong province, will keep their florescence until early April.

The white Somei Yoshino is allegedly a cross breed of the Prunus speciosa and Prunus subhirtella and has attracted many tourists and photographers to the area.
