Xiamen Police are hunting for 4 suspects who stole and fled from the Tianhucheng Residential Community on January 27.

According to their investigation, the 4 suspects were fleeing criminals from other provinces, and the black SUV they were driving was rented in Jiangxi and was equipped with fake license plate.
The burglary happened around 10:30 am on January 27. The 4 suspects triggered the alarm when they are stealing from a house in the Tianhucheng Residential Community in Haicang District. Security guards rushed to the scene and attempted to stop them, but one of the suspects threatened the guards with a knife and the suspects then escaped from the community in the black SUV.
Xiamen Police checked the security cameras in the neighboring areas and found the 4 suspects had escaped toward Huli district, and they then dispatched police officers to set up checkpoints at major roads in that direction.
The Xiamen Police set up a special team to investigate the case and published portraits of the 4 suspects via its official account of WeChat and Weibo for citizens to provide clues to their whereabouts.
