61,186 in Fuzhou to take high school exam

In Fuzhou (including Pingtan), 61,186 candidates will sit for zhongkao, or senior high school entrance examination, from June 10 to 12, according to Fuzhou Daily.

All 96 exam sites provide personal service, such as infirmaries, information desks, rest areas and bicycle parks. Staffers will be on hand to help test takers.

Morning exam subjects begin at 8:30 am. Candidates must enter the exam rooms 15 minutes early for Chinese, math and geography, and 10 minutes in advance for other exams.

They will not be allowed to enter the rooms 30 minutes after exams begin. Students must take the English test on time, as latecomers will be permitted to enter the classrooms after 8:50 am, when the listening section is finished.

Nothing but stationery, appointed history books and ideology and morality books will be permitted inside the exam rooms.
