Fujian province’s first Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be delivered and put into service in July and August, a local news website reported.

The new aircraft is set to run between Fuzhou and Beijing on April 1 after a full set of safety checks and test flights.

The mid-size jet is currently been assembled in Boeing headquarters in the US. Five other 787 aircraft booked by Xiamen Airlines will be delivered by September 2015.

Unlike other models such as 737 and 320 , Boeing 787 is equipped with an improved entertainment system called TopSeries AVANT, which is supported by the Google Android platform. Passengers can enjoy a variety of personalized games and movies during their journey.
