Fujian province is set to accept online applications at www.eeafj.cn between Oct 30 and Nov 3 from high school students seeking to take the college entrance exam – or gaokao - next year. The students will then have the opportunity to check and re-confirm their applications from Nov 4 to 8.

Students who are not registered as residing in Fujian province – according to the latest population census – can also enroll in Fujian if they meet certain requirements. The children of migrants from other provinces who have studied at high school in Fujian are also eligible. And foreign nationals living in China who hold a residence permit or Chinese permanent residence permit can also enroll in the province.

However, students who fall into any of the following categories are not eligible: Those who are already enrolled in a university, students who will not graduate in 2014, students who were found to have committed fraud when previously trying to enroll for the gaokao, students who were found to have cheated in a previous gaokao, and those who were convicted of a crime and are serving prison sentences.
