Nearly 50 calligraphy works from Pingtan's masters are on display at a calligraphy exhibition in Fuzhou, capital city of Fujian province, lasting from October 1 to 15.

The exhibition features young and middle-aged calligraphy stars in Fujian province.

The majority of the works from Pingtan belong to Lin Chuansheng, a young calligrapher who has been engaging in the art for roughly two decades.

"What I have been doing is growing my own style and system and endeavoring to reach a higher level," said Lin.
