In order to standardize the exchange market and to promote the development of tourism, Dehong Foreign Exchange Administration Bureau permitted two corporations, Taili and Datong, to open a foreign currency exchange service, which will no longer be the privilege of banks only. Both agencies are located in Jiegao. Services include traveler’s check exchange and exchanging RMB into foreign currencies.
