Zhou Jie's occupational history and entrepreneurial experience

Zhou Jie graduated from Tsinghua University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in computer science.

Zhou got his master's degree at Yale University, majoring in computer science in 2002.

In 2002, Zhou joined Google and was one of the earliest members of the company, participating in the development of the Google ads platform.

In 2005, Zhou was promoted to a director position and led a team in developing the Google online anti-fraud system, which supports all Google's products such as the ads platform and e-payment.

In 2006, Zhou went back to China to serve as director of technology in Google China, under the invitation of Dr Li Kaifu. He was in charge of the development of the local search products including Google Map, Google Life, and Linux desktop search.

In January 2008, Zhou left Google and established Lang Tao Jin Co Ltd. He was awarded the Zhongguancun outstanding entrepreneurship award for students studying abroad in the same year.

In 2009, Lang Tao Jin won the CNNIC (China National Network Information Center) annual marketing platform prize and Analysis International annual marketing technology innovation prize.

In 2010, Lang Tao Jin was listed among the top 30 innovation companies in Beijing's information network sector. The company was also commended by Entrepreneur magazine as a dark horse company and as one of the top 100 companies for the year. It won the national Soaring Award and the APEC 2010 prize for enterprises with the biggest growth potential.
