Fu Dengyuan, a Beijing native, entered Tsinghua University in 1978 and went to the University of Arizona in 1983 to study for his master's degree.
Since 1985, Fu has worked at the Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in the United States to study high-speed CPU designing for eight years. He founded Hotrail Corporation in the Silicon Valley in 1993 and developed an ultra high-speed chip interconnecting and switching technologies. They have been widely applied in the world's network communication and high performance computer sectors. HOTRAIL was merged with Conexant Systems Inc in 2000, and brought hundreds of millions dollars to investors.
From 2000 to 2004, Fu served as a senior vice president at the former Conexant, and was in charge of 1,000 technical staff members.
Since 2004, Fu has founded the Maxic Technology Corporation in Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing. He serves as an investment technology consultant for the Woodside Fund, the chairman for the board of directors and the CEO of Maxic Technology
