Migu Running, Garmin sign deal

Event organizer Migu Running has recently signed a strategic agreement with well-known sports watch maker Garmin.

Both sides will join forces in the fields of sports data, running arrangements and training and custom-made running gear development.

Migu has held more than 200 events, including marathons in Beijing and Shanghai and cross-country running events in the Sichuan and Gansu provinces.

The company has an app with more than 700,000 active users on a daily basis.

An updated version of the software will be launched later this year, through which Garmin will offer its advanced GPS and outdoor sensors to Migu users.
