Video works

Together they form an archive of personal experiences.

Circus of life

American-Chinese artist Daniel Lee's new digital photo art series, Circus, deals with the symbiosis of humans and nature. Man and animal have shared this planet for so long, yet there is always a clear boundary separating them. Only in a circus do men and animals rely on each other. They live together, work together and travel together. On stage, humans try their best to show their animal instincts, while the animals imitate the behaviors of human beings. The circus becomes a metaphor for the real world.

Opening: 5 pm, March 5; 10 am-5 pm, March 5-April 4. Tangram Art Center, F2, Building 17, 50 Moganshan Lu. 021-6299-9868
