A.D. Coleman(L), the internationally known photo critic, is assigned as general consultant for the event.

Coleman was the first photo critic for the New York Times authoring 120 articles during his tenure. He started writing in 1967 and has contributed to numerous magazines, artist monographs and other publications worldwide. He was named one of the "Top 100 People in Photography" by American Photo Magazine.

This time he has presented seven exhibitions including those from American photographer Wynn Bullock and Harold Feinstein as well as Arno Rafael Minkkinen. The works are coherent with the event's theme, that is, human and nature.

On promoting interactive cooperation between international and Chinese photography, Coleman expressed his admiration of the event.

Xinhua News Agency brings a "China in 60 Years" exhibition. Visitors are impressed by the epic pictures that record history.

A visitor said, "It is a very rare chance to see these precious photos. Many of them have not been shown in public for quite a long time. The exhibition makes me ponder over the past."

The Singapore International Photography Festival, photographers from Hong Kong and Taiwan as well as the mainland's practitioners also contributed exhibitions to echo the theme of "human and nature."

New media and documentaries will be discussed on one platform with photography, to consider their current development and future cohesion.
