The UNESCO's World Heritage certification, and the site map and introduction of the Historic Centre were engraved on the new tablet, which is located at a piazza in front of the Ruins of St. Paul's.
Earlier this year, the Cultural Affairs Bureau has begun to established interpretative signs, on which the introduction to the cultural backgrounds of the sites in Chinese, Portuguese, English and Japanese are engraved, in front of the ancient buildings located within the Historic Center of Macao.
A total of 32 such signs will be set up in front of different ancient buildings and piazzas within the Historic Center of Macao by the end of August this year, according to the Bureau.
