Victim of theft clicks culprit in act on same street

A woman spent a week on a street in Changchun, Jilin province, with a camera trying to click a thief who stole from her.

And she succeeded too.

A week ago, Ai was walking on the Chongqing Street in the city, when a girl took away her cash and cell phone by force.

Ai, determined to get the thief behind bars, took leave from her job and spent a week wandering the same street.

Finally, she spotted the girl trying to steal from other pedestrians and took pictures of her in the act.

Ai submitted the pictures to the police, who have launched a search for the girl, and has returned to work.
