Girl's burning candles fail to light up boy's heart

A female university student in Shandong province tried in vain to woo a boy on campus.

On the evening of June 11, the girl used candles to form two interconnecting hearts, below the dormitory where the boy lives.

But the boy never showed up, much to the disappointment of onlookers and the girl.
