Campus love proves short lived

A recent survey found that although many university students in Guangzhou fall in love with each other while on campus, love does not last after they graduate.

The survey revealed that 80 per cent of campus couples break up after graduation as a result of family and employment pressures.

The survey, conducted by Guangzhou University, questioned more than 1,000 students from the city's major universities and 1,000 recent graduates.
