Anhui enhances BRI ties with flights to Moscow
HEFEI - A nonstop flight linking eastern China's Anhui province and Moscow will open on June 20, according to the Anhui Civil Aviation Airport Group.
The flight will be operated by Russia's IrAero with a Boeing 777. The outbound flight is scheduled to depart from Xinqiao International Airport in the capital city of Hefei at 2 pm on Thursday.
The journey is about 7.5 hours, and the flight will be operated between June 20 and Oct 26. Russia's tourist season runs from May to October when visitors can experience its beautiful scenery.
Russian Ural Airlines opened the Hefei-Novosibirsk-Moscow flight in December 2018, with its passenger load factor remaining at 95 percent and above.
The opening of the nonstop flight is expected to further strengthen the aviation access between Anhui and Belt and Road markets and promote trade and tourism between Anhui and Russia. Xinhua
