Munchkin appoints veteran Bush as GM

Global baby lifestyle brand Munchkin Inc appointed Kevin Bush (pictured) as general manager for Munchkin Asia-Pacific and Global Grass Fed Nutrition. In his new position, Bush will be responsible for strategy, operations, and sales to lead Munchkin's Grass Fed initiatives globally. Bush will be based in the Asia Pacific region full-time. Bush said he is honored to be joining Munchkin, and with the company's unique proposition, best-in-class branding assets, and strong support from Australian and Chinese mums, he believed Grass Fed Formula is poised to take a true leadership position in the industry. An industry veteran, Bush has over 20 years of experience in the infant formula segment. Prior to joining Munchkin, he worked for global nutrition giant Danone.
Xiaomi hires Lu Weibing as vice-president
Technology giant Xiaomi Inc named Lu Weibing as vice-president and concurrent general manager for its product line Redmi. As a GM, Lu oversees product design, manufacturing, and sales. Lu reports to Xiaomi's president Lin Bin. Xiaomi said in an internal statement that Lu's rich industry experience will help Xiaomi to produce better products and services. Lu has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Xiaomi, Lu was president of phone-maker Gionee.
Xu steps down as ED of China Life Insurance
China Life Insurance Co Ltd announced the resignation of executive director Xu Hengping, who also quit as a member of the company's risk management committee citing personal reasons. The resignation took effect on Jan 24. The board appreciated Xu for the contributions made during his tenure. Xu has over 30 years of working experience in life insurance and insurance management. Prior to joining the company's executive team, Xu served as a senior executive at China Life Insurance's Fujian branch.
Ge receives nod to head China Everbright Bank
The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission approved the appointment of Ge Haijiao as head and executive board director of China Everbright Bank. Ge has served in numerous positions at management level in parent China Everbright Group prior to this appointment, including as manager of culture, travel and health, and chairman at another subsidiary China Everbright Industry Group Ltd.
Construction giant names Zhou as VP
China State Construction Engrg Corp Ltd, the listed arm of China State Construction Engineering Group Co Ltd, appointed Zhou Yong as vice-president, effective Jan 28. Zhou currently serves as deputy general manager and a member of the Party group at CSCEC, and will continue with his tenure after the appointment took effect. Prior, Zhou served as vice-chairman at China State Construction International Holdings Ltd, a subsidiary of CSCEC. Before joining CSCEC, Zhou was the chairman and Party secretary of China Overseas Holdings Ltd.
