A splash of Brooklyn

A new urban New York style gastropub has come to the heart of Hong Kong's SOHO. Brooklyn Bar & Grill's warmly lit space is half smokestack speak-easy, half glammed-up eatery with industrial fit-outs and exposed brick. Look for the eponymous Brooklyn Lager and prosecco in a cheerful flow-or the sweet-and-sour punch of the Raspberry Lemon Drop and the Spiked Blueberry Lemonade. The food is grassroots grub in big portions. Yum factor: Pizza doused in truffle oil, flecked with oregano and marbled with cheese. Other menu stars: the straight-out-of-a-New York-deli pastrami sandwich and the buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich. Creamy cheesecake options can change weekly.
