When traveling in Tibet, you will find various delicacies with unique ethnic flavor besides the magnificent landscapes on the way.

The most typical and well-known food with Tibetan flavor includes a variety of sausages, highland barley wine, buttered tea, big chunks of stewed lamb or beef, yak tongue dressed with sauces, Tibetan styled steamed stuffed buns, Zanba (roasted highland barley flour), as well as sweet tea, milk tea, yoghourt, roasted sausage, air dried meat and Shabching (meat paste), and so on.
